Note From the Editor

Earlier this year, we interviewed some of travel's top leaders on stage at Skift Global Forum to talk about the big issues of the day. We also got to spend some extra time with them backstage in our Skift Take Studio, where they weighed in on the big trends of 2018 and whatever else was on their minds. The first of our stories featuring those interviews is out today; the rest will follow in the coming weeks.

In addition to the new Skift Take Studio series, we also have our first Gateway contribution from Australia, examining the potential impact of new direct flights between Australia and Europe that kick off in a few months. The world grows ever more connected. We will keep telling the story of the ways travel makes that possible.
